Project code: IP.1.1.03.0147

Project implementation period: 01.01.2025. do 31.12.2027.

The project Integrated Approach to the Demolition of Buildings, Production and Refinement of Construction Materials – RuCEP is being implemented in Pannonian Croatia, within the framework of the Green Growth RLV, priority niche Green Construction. The project is being implemented by a consortium consisting of 6 SME partners, 1 partner from the Ministry of Education and Science and in cooperation with the City of Požega. The aim of the project is to develop 3 innovations based on the principles of the circular economy and the use of the latest available technologies for collecting 3D spatial data, artificial intelligence and production automation.

Partners: University of Zagreb Faculty of Metallurgy; CESTE Požega d.o.o.; GEOMETRICUS d.o.o.; RENCON d.o.o.; SPINOT d.o.o.; PATERNA d.o.o.

Total value of the project: 2.063.598,03 EUR

Grant Funds: 1.389.972,25 EUR

Specific Project Objectives

1. Develop and implement an integrated process that combines building removal techniques, 3D scanning, analysis and software-supported automated creation of design and bid construction estimates, and material refinement for reinstatement

2. Increase recovery and reuse of reinforcement elements from building demolition

3. Reduce costs of the building removal process

4. Increase environmental sustainability by reducing construction waste

Expected results

1. New software tool for the analysis of data collected by 3D terrestrial scanning, LiDAR scanning, MMS mapping and GPR device imaging and creation of design and tender cost estimates

2. Adopted methodology for precise mapping and analysis of construction objects using 3D laser scanning

3. Increased amount of recovered and reused reinforcement

4. Reduced costs of removing buildings

5. Reduced amount of construction waste and increased sustainability of construction projects

6. Increasing the competitiveness of consortium members on the market
